Default Q frog are u at work? <Getting the drivers seat re-upholstered>

Like everyone else here, I have the 2 cracks on the left side bolster on my drivers side. I can see if i was fat, but that's not the case 190lbs(no jokes please .
So, stopped by the dealership and my boys got me a quote.
8D0-881-361-K Padding: List $137.87 My price-117.19
8D0-881-405-BL-GYP seat cover: List $200.71. My price-200.71
Total, out the door-$317.90 WOW!! that's with out labor. I have a professional place that are going to charge me $95. ( i have to remove the seat myself)
Is this worth it???
I wanna keep the A4 in top ship shape, looking good.

Thanks
DG

Well....thats like replacing the timing tensioner(the part that lets go) every 60K miles and re-using the same timing belt!
When the upholster takes the seat apart, why not replace the padding? its gonna take some of the spongeness(is that a word?) out. Make the seat feal like the day it was new.

Default SpongIness

n 1: the porosity of a sponge 2: the property of being able to occupy less space [syn: compressibility, squeezability] [ant: incompressibility]
