With Quattro, how much torque is distributed to the front wheels and how much to the rear wheels?

25% to each wheel. Redistributed to those with grip when needed.

I heard it's predominantly FWD, but I can only get the rears to break loose.

Default Wow, I didn't know that Quattro had even distribution.

Wish I had a Nissan Skyline so I could launch in AWD, then switch to RWD to reduce lag.

Thats the TT (Haldex). Quattro (Torson..sp?) is 25% per wheel

Default i believe launching with RWD would be faster...

how about the Porsche 959's 6 clutch 4wd system?

I think quattro can send a maximum of 66% to the front or rear. Normally it is 50% each.

No slip: 25% to each corner. Slipping: Up to 100% to either axle, up to 66% to one wheel.
