Default Some key points from those quotes.......

Quattro cars kept winning races BUT best single laps were achieved by 2WD cars.

RWD cars, not FWD.

Quattro's benefits are extremely slim in a 190hp car in both wet and dry conditions

Dunno who wrote that one, but it's retarded. Quattro's benefits in the dry could be debatable (although even at 190 hp, traction is a problem in both first and second gear, and let's not even mention cornering while on the gas), but trying to argue that the benefit of Quattro IN THE WET is "extremely slim"?!?!?! That's moronic.

Default Yes, here's what you do to believe it.....

My friend went to the Audi dealer for a test drive. The dealer drove the car first and went into a right hand turn pretty quickly(around 40mph-ish). As soon as he passed the apex of the turn he floored it and the car just drove in the direction that the dealer was steering. No slipping, sliding, fishtailing, or BS. However, the road conditions were, "normal". Try that with a "regular" car!! No wonder the BTCC banned Quattro!!

I've got to try that in my own 2k1 1.8TQTip car, but I'm still in the babying stage and don't want anything to come close to or hurt my ride!!!

FWD does not S__K. That's craziness. If it did then the DOT would ban it.

Default oh yeah..I do that every day..it feels sooooo good!

There's this s-turn that I take at about 40MPH and floor it through the Apex to get 4-wheel drift. This morning was wet and it felt so good! Tracked perfectly as always. Great way to start the day!
