Financial plus: quattro option holds at least 100% of its value come resale time if not more.

Default A resounding YES!

I went to my first quattro club track event in Sept at NHIS and it poured rain on the second day. I have never had such fun coming out of turn #3 (the sharpest turn at NHIS) at full throttle in the pouring rain!

Click the link and check out the last file which is a movie of Turn #3 in the dry.

The M3s and Porsches were waving us by all day! ;-)

And since you live in Chicago, then get it without a doubt.

Pics from NHIS

Default nice choices

I like the looks of both....I think I'd rather have the RWD over FWD...but the 1.8T motor over the 2.3 liter BBMW. I like both interiors...but the Audi is a far better value. Tough choice. Good luck.

Default Im not saying the frontrack is a bad or cheesy car...

Im just saying your much better off buying a VW... just as good an interior, same engine, and it costs less.

Default Not true. Check out the prices at edmunds.com or kbb.com.

I have Quattro and love it, but the resale value argument is specious. You'll get a little more, but nowhere near 100%.

Default take it from a fwd owner (me)

Quattro is worth it. The FWD is top notch, but it's still fwd.

I know; and it's still not true. Maybe 50-60% for late models, much less for older.
