Quattro - is it worth the extra $1750?

A resounding YES!
I went to my first quattro club track event in Sept at NHIS and it poured rain on the second day. I have never had such fun coming out of turn #3 (the sharpest turn at NHIS) at full throttle in the pouring rain!

The M3s and Porsches were waving us by all day! ;-)
And since you live in Chicago, then get it without a doubt.<ul><li><a href="http://web.mit.edu/dylee/www/NHIS/">Pics from NHIS</a></li></ul>

nice choices
I like the looks of both....I think I'd rather have the RWD over FWD...but the 1.8T motor over the 2.3 liter BBMW. I like both interiors...but the Audi is a far better value. Tough choice. Good luck.
