Ques. for bike rack owners....fork mount or upright mount?

you have to be careful about your pedals. My racing bike pedals can rotate (due to the wind) and can make contact with my roof (just barely). If I had the upright stands, I don't think this would be a problem.
To avoid this problem, I use a bungy cord to keep the pedals horizontal and in place. This may not be a problem for you depending on your bike. But make sure you test it out and make sure your pedals are clearing the roof.
This is not a problem with my mountain bike.
Other than that, I really like the fork mounts and still prefer them to the other mounting techniques.
