for the meantime, untill i get enough dough to get wheels and coilover susp. could i just buy the sport springs from audi or posibly used from some one? can u run the sport springs with the stock non-sport shocks? i just want a cheap alternative for the meantime to decrease the wheel gap as much as possible.

Don't buy shocks with more than ~20K miles. The factory shocks are good for about 50K before they begin to soften and feel like a non-sport suspension.
Contact SameerP to see if he still has his sport shocks and springs. He just sold his car...though I'm not sure whether his came with the sport package.
