Default Question about adhesives

I will soon install my koni coilovers, and I was wondering if I could use some sort of marine grade adhesive to bond the threaded sleeve to the shock. It seems the biggest gripe about the konis is that you can't ajust the height while on the car. wouldn't this solve that problem?

Default huh?

Sure you can adjust the ride height while they're on the car. You can't adjust the rebound dampening.

Thats the case with the Bilstein's, but the Koni C/O is advertised as adjust.

Default I haven't seen the Koni's in person, but I think the issue is that they are very difficult to adjust

while on the car, because the spring rests directly on top of the adjustable spanners. H&R's have another piece in between the spring and the spanner, making it easier to adjust the spanner I believe. I think it's a design difference that marine grade goo isn't going to address.

Default I think..

The Koni's offer a washer type item that sits between the spring and the perch. This relieves some of the pressure exerted on the perch by the spring.
Adjusting the perches to lower the car is not too difficult. Raising the car is more challenging, as the spring binds with the perches. That washer alleviates the problem slightly.
