Default Question about code reader problem

I used a code reader to check what was wrong because my check engine light came on. The description of the first code was: Temperature sensor EGR-G98 Signal too high. And the second code description was: Bank1, Mixture adaption (add.) System too lean. Does anyone know what this means and if so what I can do to fix it. Thanks

Default You need to give more info on your car!

What engine, year etc otherwise no-one will have a clue. Only the 96/97 V6 US models have EGR.

That code is a generic, you need a VAG specific code..
