Default Question about GIAC X-chip...
I'm going to be getting a GIAC chip for my '01 1.8tqm in the next few weeks, and I'm wondering about the x-chip. I want to get it, but my question is, do I just order a chip for an '01 off their site? Is the '01 chip just called the x-chip since it can be flash-loaded? Or is there another chip that can also be bought for '01's? Their product list doesn't say "x-chip", this is why I'm asking. Also, does anyone know someone who can load the software for me in/around the Denver, CO area? Thanks.

Default find a GIAC distributer in your area, it makes things a whole lot faster
they have a link to distributers on their site

They advertise a 30-38hp gain... I thought it was something like 47 like APR?

Default yea i dont know why it says that, youre going to get more like 45 HP gain and like 55 torque to the
wheels

I would go GIAC or Dahlback and that is it . . . of course I'm looking for max kick on 93 octane.
