Question about HID's for 2 piece headlights
Good Afternoon - It's been a long time since I last posted with ya guys. I've been busy at school down in Clemson...hope all is well with ya
I would like to upgrade my headlights to HID and I have searched but nobody has said if I can buy the kit off VVME and install them into the OEM 2 piece headlights from my 98.5 A4 1.8T. Does anybody know if this is possible? Will the new bulbs fit? Also has anybody recently purchased this kit from VVME and had customer service issues?
Thanks!

Best bet is to buy Depo projector headlights (just like Euros, but cheaper) and install those
You have to dremel away a lip on your fenders, but it's really not that bad.
After you have those housings, you can buy my OEM S4 bulbs & ballasts and mount those inside your new housings.

Keeper of the Cash
I have to agree. People driving in the city with their high beams on
headlights point North and South, and not a care in the world.
At least when I turn on my high beams with my ecodes, I KNOW they're going to see spots for a little while.

$150 shipped?
The bulbs do have 90k on them and have faded a little, but probably not noticeable unless you're sitting next to another car with brand new bulbs. If they're horrid, you can send them back and I'll cover return shipping.
