Default Question about replacing instrument cluster...
My tach started freaking out a week ago. I'm looking at replacement instrument clusters on eBay.

My car is a 1997 w/ the trip computer. Will ANY 96-2001.5 instrument cluster work, or only the 1996-1997 types?

I know in the newer models they switched to a digital clock (which I'd prefer) and white lighting instead of all red. Anyone know when they made the switch?

i think the switch came with the 99.5 models

99.5 has both analog clock and red illumination

Any idea if they're all interchangable?

I doubt it will be interchangable since even the connectors are all different

Default 2nd. I believe it was 2000
when the interior changes were made... i.e. the double-din radio
