Default Question about socketing GIAC chips

I have a stock ECU and a GIAC chip that I am going to get get socketed at Shine Racing in Walpole MA, a GIAC dealer. My question is this, is there a way to get the stock chip socketed so that I can then physicaly switch back and forth between the stock chip and the GIAC chip?

I am pretty sure there is, but figured I would ask the GAIC gurus on the board. Anything specific I should tell them when I bring the ECU in?

Default When you bring your ECU there they will put a socket on the ECU.

Therefore. You can switch between chips (Stock or GIAC).

Default yup - that's how they did it for me.

Dick put my stock chip on a board and the GIAC chip on another board, then put the socket on the ECU. You can plug and play as you please.
