Default Question about the whole Neuspeed sway bar subframe problem from a while back...

...I remember in like October or something Neuspeed was telling people that there was a problem with the bushings they were using that could potentially cause a subframe crack or something? I couldn't deal with it at the time because I was knee-deep in my first year of college and didn't even have my car, but I guess I'd like to know whether it's worth dealing with Neuspeed, getting replacement bushings, and switching them out. Can anyone comment?

Thanks in advance.

Not bushings, reinforcement brackets. EMail Greg Woo from NS and he'll send you free new ones.

Default It's not the bushings......it's the subframe braces.....

in a few rare instances the Neuspeed bar had caused the subframe to crack....so they redesigned the subframe braces to be stronger. They then sent them out for free to anyone who bought one.

Default IIRC it is a support issue and YES it is worth doing the change. The old style cracked a few sub

frames. Not good Neuspeed is an excellent outfit and will hook you up no issue me thinks.

Default to NS's credit, the number of cars that had problems

is SO LOW, like under 3% or something equally low.... .but they are covering their customers with the new brackets, which is good. I haven't installed mine yet.

Go NS! Thanks for taking care of us...
