Question about wiring in headlight connector...

Question about wiring in headlight connector...
so, you know that headlight connector (it's oval shaped) where the various different wires all plug into? how does one remove one once you've plugged one in? i think i need to redo my city light wire, but i'm not sure how to get the current wire out of there. it seems like a stupid question to me, but i can't seem to figure it out...
