I am going to be doing some lapping days/autocrosses coming up this summer and for the rest of my life. I want to know if the TrackSports can be used for daily driving??? What weight set up did you go with and how is it?? Also if you bought the street sports how do they drive and would they be ok for track use??? Thanks for your help!!

decent for DD and tracking at 500/600. If you do with the the SSs, once you get better on the track, you'll want more and will be willing to give up a little comfort on the street. so, just go with the Tracksports. my 600/750 would be too stiff for most.
RKA has a 500/600 setup for sale
or, at least he did recently.

They are so soft it almost makes a case for using OEM components (assuming they are in good shape).
One more thing...regarding your confusing about how 18" tires add more harshness...the Koni shocks with the tracksports are actually more compliant over sharp impacts (high piston speeds) in the road than many OEM shocks I've ridden on (even non-Audi). A stiff short sidewall tire has relatively little given, so you tend to feel that change immediately.
