on my rotors than on the pads. At least it seems that way, as my rotors now have a "lip" of unworn material that is preventing me from sliding the front calipers off the front caipers. Does anyne have any experience with this problem? It looks like I'll replace my rotors now, but I still need to slide the caliper with the old pads off the rotor.

the outer pads shouldnt be 'attached' to the calipers, loosen that up and the calipers should slide up. some installers put anti-squeal goo there that may have frozen

shocked at the level of rotor degradation and had to have a beer (or six), so I'll get back to it tommorrow.
