I've been noticing lately on cold days when

when idleling at 1100 or so in the morning

run a bottle of fuel injector cleaner and see if it helps any...
something like BG44K or Techron Concentrate.
Otherwise, I would think that such misfires would throw error codes on your ECU, which the dealer should be able to read and replace the faulty part based on that.

I was at the dealer dropping off frog and picking up my BUICK
and I asked another VAG product owner "what are you in for" he was picking up his jeep sportage *liberty
His wife was driving their B5 passat 1.8T and it died in Irvington NJ. LOL like this is the worst possible place for a silly *** housewife woman from summit to be stranded. The guy was NOT ammused and even less so by the fact they were only gonna change 1 of the 4 coilpacks.
I told him they are easy to do and he seemed even less pleased. It was great fun. Then I got my buick LeSabre and I started driving it like I hate it.
I treat this car like **** because I took the $14 a day insurance on it. I dont give a **** about this car and I want to damage it as a thank you to DCH.

Re: Thanx man I'll try that, but where can i get it?
You can find your nearest BG dealer at the site linked below. However, I've heard that Audi/VW dealers also sell it under their own brand name. Just ask for fuel injector/system cleaner.
Techron Concentrate is available at most auto parts stores or Wal-Mart/Target etc.
BG44K is stronger than Techron.<ul><li><a href="http://www.bgprod.com/locator.html">http://www.bgprod.com/locator.html</a</li></ul>
