question for ECS
when a customer is paying you 1500 dollars for a brake package, how hard would it be to make a checklist of the parts that need to be included and double check it? my stage 2v2 kit arrived missing several parts. here is what should be included according to the site:
# ECS cadmium coated rotor rings
# 7075 Aluminium Rotor Hat - hard annodized black
# 7075 Aluminium carrier bracket - hard annodized black
# HAWK Performance HPS or HP-plus pads
# Porsche OEM Hardend steel caliper bolts
# Porsche OEM Pad Dampners **missing**
# Porsche OEM Pad wear sensors **missing one**
# Cadmium coated rotor hardware
# New rotor/hub screws **missing**
# Porsche Boxster Caliper **one is missing bridge bolt and rattle spring**
# ECS, DOT Approved Stainless Lines - Vinyl coated
# Caliper banjo bolts with new crush washers
# Complete printed instructions with photos **missing**
# 1 Liter ATE Super Blue Brake Fluid

this is pathetic... i really need to get them installed this weekend so it looks like i'll have to go to a porsche dealer to see if i can find parts or buy a new set of oem pads for $50 that i'll end up taking back off in a week when ECS ships the rest of my parts.

don't use super blue...stfa and you'll know what i mean...
as for wear sensor, it only comes with one. If i were you, i'll just cut it out...you can see the pads from the top.

Re: yeah, they didn't send super blue, something else
Probably Pentosen,ECS(aka Eurocar Service) is about 15 minutes from me.They are good at sending the correct products.Friends of mine have been dealing with them for 10 yrs + .I even delivered Toyota parts to them yrs ago when they worked on all make imports. Not sure if they will touch jap crap anymore.

YOU ARE TOO NICE!!!! if it was me i would rip them a new one..
I would think that a formally Reptuable company would atleast make sure that all things ORDERD would make it into the shipping box. The tech guy who put their website together should give a copy of the shipping list for a ecs version 2 stage 2 porsche big brake upgrade to ECS because i dont think they have one..
