I posted about the availability of some sort of "temporary clearbra" on the S4 & OT forums, and someone mentioned that you'd found such an animal, but they didn't know the name of the thing.

Do you have any info about this? I'm interested in getting ahold of some...thanks in advance!

We use this allot in racing to tape numbers to our bodywork. Doesn't leave any residue and easy to work with. You can get it at Home Depot or Lowes in the weatherstripping isle.

I used this before I got the real stuff installed in order to drive up to Conn. to the Armorfend factory headquarters. (The real thing is worth every penny!)

It just doesn't have the right amount of adhesive. It goes on and off real easy, is very wide and clear. Problem is it is not sticky enough for areas like the grille surround where it is thin. It needs large surface area. So for now I use that to cover the whole hood and tape to go around the grille areas.

I am also going to try a low tack vinyl film that is white. We will see.

But, it's the same brand as all of the other weatherstriping products. What it's meant for is to tape the platic over windows in the winter. At the Home Depots around here (Va) it's the only brand and the only poly clear tape they carry.
