Default Question regarding brakes?

When I brake hard at high speeds(over 60mph), the car has a noticable shudder or vibration. Could this be warped rotors, or an alignment issue? What could it be? Thanks

Default More than likely warped rotors...

...if your dealership is nice and you're sitll under warranty, you can get em replaced for free. I did, anyway.

Default Thats interesting, but doesn't apply to all cases.

I had the exact same symptoms and replaced my rotors with the A8 upgrade, problem solved.

Default I just had the front rotors and pads replaced about 7k miles ago

The front and rear rotors are oem. This was all done under warranty. I think the rear rotors may have just been machined, and not replaced. Immediately after, I had the stock pads replaced with EBC greens. I'm wondering if a) the EBC pads warped the rotors b) Audi should have replaced the rear rotors instead of reusing them, or c)what suckerpunch posted (the link).

Default possible but audi wont replace them now because of the EBCs

unless you have the old pads, yes it can happen very soon in rotor life by not breaking in the pads or over heating them
