Question on Rust Warranty
I have a 96 A4. I bought it used from the dealer, but no Audi Assured. I have a spot of rust on my hood I noticed recently. I thought I read that the rust warranty was lifetime. Is that true, and does it transfer if I bought it used?

I think it's 12 years...should be transferrable, but does not apply to surface corrosion...
It's a "rust through" warranty, which means you either have to have holes in your car, or it needs to be falling apart on the highway due to the rust.
