Default A question on Secondary Pump?

My friend's 2000 Jetta 2.0L has its check engine light on after traveling mid-distance (~ 100miles) yesterday. We checked the code at autozone this morning, the code is P0411, the following is the information I got from autozone.

Definition:
secondary air injection system fault
Explanation:
The air injection system is monitored for faults
Probable Causes:
1. Circuit relay defective or fuse open
2. Check connector and wiring
3. AIR pump defective or hoses blocked

I have checked my fuses, No. 41 fuse (blue, 15A) is broken. When I changed a fuse, the Check engine light is still on.

The check engine light went on once one or two month ago, when I just bought the car. My friend and I put some seafoam into the engine oil, the light went off. We then changed the engine oil. everything was fine till yesterday. Not sure if these two cases are related.

You comments and suggestions are very welcome. Thanks.

Not we did not. So should we clear the code? As far as we know, it is related vacuum leak. We did find the braided tube kind of degraded (connected to combi valve ). Any suggestions! Thanks!

You have to clear the codes. If you found a split vac hose, replace it, THEN clear the codes..
