Questions about clutch and Audi Assured Warranty

I just bought a 1997 1.8TQS and the car is great but I am having a few problems with the car. The clutch pedal is getting stuck about halfway let out. This has happened twice. The car has 43k on it. Has this happened to anyone? If so, what might be the cause? Do I need to worry?
Also, I picked up the car in a hurry and didn't have a lot time to look over the outside of the car when got it, but upon getting it home, it was obvious the car had been in an accident and had the rear-ps-quarter panel replaced. There was obviously no frame damage and I can live with the repair, but the paint job was abominable. There are bubbles and dust in the paint. Also the rear bumber is pretty scratched, and the front bumber has obviously been airbrushed in a couple of places. What kind of claim do I have with my dealer about repainting parts of the car under the Audi assured warranty? I know paint is covered, but haven't gotten the paper work yet and don't know to what extant? What do you think. Thanks a lot.

ps-If you live in the Cleveland area and have to get your Porsche/Audi repainted don't go to Freddy Baker Porsche/Audi. He ****ed up this paint job and completely ruined the paint job on a 911 belonging to my father. Jerk.

I pretty much had the same thing happen to me. With the clutch, my disc was breaking in the center, and I was just making things worse by forcing the car into gear. When my clutch pedal would get stuck I coulden't get it out. i would pull over turn the car off, and start it up again. So i drove it until it broke. Well after trying to beat the dealer price of a clutch job($1300). I found a shop that would change it for $550, I also bought my Luk clutch kit O.E.M. for $240 at Dialaclutch.com compared to about $600 at Audi. I also didn't notice the bad paint job on my PS rear quarter panel buying my 97 A4 with 52700 on the odometer.
