Default Questions about replacing control arms...

The front suspension on my car feels very lose. I brought it to audi for the recall on the lower control arms and they said everything is fine. I then brought it to a small european shop and the confirmed that the lowers are fine but the upper c-arms on the driver side and passenger side (4 total) are shot.

My questions are, should I just replace the 4 control arms or suck it up and get the whole kit (8 arms + sway bar endlinks) and do everthing.

Or, should I do the stabilizer (sway bar) endlinks as well?

Money IS a factor meaning if I can save the 300 bucks by buying only the upper c-arms - that would be great. Thanks

Default That depends. Everyone would say, do em all... But it's your budget and your call.

I just did the upper/fronts on both sides. I will probably end up having to replace all of them. If you can, take advantage of the labor overlap and do them all.

I will be doing the job myself so labor isn't a factor.

Default Take a look at ecstuning. They might not have the best prices, but you can ...

get a good idea of how much they ream you when buying one/two arms at a time vs. the whole kit.
