Questions about rims...

Right now i have stock 16's. =\ I am looking to get some new rims, maybe some 17 or 18" rims. My question is, do rims make the car any higher then before? I have bilstein & h&r springs, and my car is pretty low. I think that getting new rims would increase the height of the car, is that true? or am i just lying to myself?
p.s. Sorry it this question sounds noobish.

if the wheels have the same rolling diameter then nope you won't see an increase in ride height.

you will be fine with 17 or 18's

what diameter do i need? to see some increase?

I wanna add my v2 rear, but if i install the v2 i wouldnt be able to go up driveway.

There won't be an increase, but it may look like there is.

You need a different suspension if you want to raise the car somewhat...

Correctly matched wheels and tires will not do this for you unless you wanna go bigfoot style...

When you get a larger diameter rim, you get a lower profile tire, this keeps the overall outer diameter the same...
