questions on race/sport H&R springs/Neuspeed Springs with Bilstein Shocks

I have several suspension questions. First off is there trully a difference between the H&R sport and Race Spring. Their has been many posts stating that these springs are near identical however the race springs lower a bit more. The main question is what is the best setup for me because I can not decide. I have a 1999 Audi A4 1.8t quattro I will be getting the RS4 replica 18' wheels currently I have 15'wheels and I would like to use the small wheels for the winter. I want excelent handling however I don't want a drasticly rough ride and I need to be at a height that will be able to compensate for 15's in the winter. So my mian idea was to get H&R sport springs with Bilstein Shocks set with the Perch setting one lower then the factory middle setting. I still do not know weather to get the H&R sport or the Neuspeed Sport what Provides for better handiling with decent comfort? The other idea I had is since the H&R race springs are the same amount of money I thought of buying them with the Bilstein shocks and keeping the perch setting at the factory set middle. Again I do not know what company to choose for the springs H&R or Neuspeed which spring Neuspeed race or H&R race provides with the best ratio of handling/Comfort??? This leads to another question will the setup of the sport spring (dont know wich one H&R or Neuspeed)at the next perch level down from the factory middle setting on the shock have the same amount of handiling as the Race spring at the factory middle perch setting???? Finally, My overall question is what is the best comprmisable setup for me in my scenerio?? I have 18' wheels in the summer and I have 15' wheels in the winter so obiosly i need a compromisable height so I do need to change my suspension every season. I also want a car that can handle extremly well that does not have a drasticly unconftorable rougness while my 18 are on. So plz send me your suggestions thanx alot. and the ride wasn't much more uncomfortable compared to H&R sports. The races are considerably lower than sports and I am a bit worried after I install bumper/skirts/valence if it will scrape or not.

You're right about the H&R Race vs. H&R Sport, they have the same spring rate, the race is slightly lower.
Like you, I had stock 15" and then replaced with 18" RS4 replicas, H&R Race and neu-bils. Take a look at my picture poster for pics.
The result is a completely different car that handles like its on rails, the car is quite a bit stiffer however.
The main thing you need to ask yourself is how low you want to go; once you figure that out and make your spring choice, adjust your shocks accordingly.

I recently went from h&r race springs w/ bilstein shocks to stock sport sprigns w/ bilstein shocks and the ride comfort barely improved. The only difference comes when you hit pot hole infested holes.
