Interesting trivia (well at least I think so)
ON the BMW 5 series, there's a little diagram inside the trunk lid on how to arrange 3 bags so they will fit. Therefore, I can't imagine an A4 could hold 4. But what the hell, get out the Vaseline!

I think you might be able to do it...
if you combine all of the clubs into two bags (or leave some of them out of the bags) which lie across the rear portion of the trunk, and then stick the two empty bags in the other way (bottom against rear seats).

Make sure the 2 guys in the backseat aren't on your team for any reason...
but if you're competing against them, throw 'em in the back, take the long way to the most distant course you can find, and insist the front seats can't go any further forward.
