Default I think

Did it recently, so from memory:

turn on the ignition but don't start the car.
press the button you want to program and hold it until it starts flashing fast (10 seconds i think).
finally point the remote at the visor, and press the remote button.

you might need to keep the homelink pressed down while you press the remote button, can't remember that part.

Default That's pretty much it but...

if, after you try it and it doesn't work, it might be your opener. I could not program my opener to my homelink but I could program my mother's opener to work off my homelink. We got our openers about two years apart and for that, I am seriously considering getting a newer opener.
