Quick Question
Quick Question, and please no laughter, I am new at this stuff.....is it easier to do the linkage mod when i'm putting in my shortshifter? or if I do the shortshifter at one time, and the linkage mod later, would it be the same amount of work, i'm not quite sure about what I have to do under the car for the linkage mod?

I haven't done it, but I did a SS...
it looks like it would be easir to do them both at the same time, because his instructions say to disconnect the lionkage inside the car too, so, since you are already going to have all that out, it seems as though it will be easier to do them at the same time.

A comment....
You might want to do a search here, in fact it probably posted up in the tech or faq section by now. Its more convienient to do it wjile everything is apart. The bolt is fairly easy to access up by the shifter, but its the backside of the linkage at the trans end, thats the tough part. It helps to have a drill press handy(and a metric tap set) and second car to head to the local hardware or Lowes(or the like store).
Frankly that bushing in the linkage was designed with far too much slack in it. The nylon insert will make a big difference.
