Raced a ES300 tonight.....
1st light We were even up to 2nd gear, in 3rd i pulled...(bad launch)...
2nd light the guy totally knew i was up for it.... i was sitting, revving at about 2400RPM(mind you, this is one of my first races in the A4 so i was shaking).... light goes green(well, actually, i was watching the other signal turn red), i have a purrrfect quattro launch, 6100RPM shift to 2nd, 5700 to 3rd, 3500 to 4th.... by this time i look in my rear view, flash my hazard lights the guy flashes his high beams....
(quick thanks to Wetterauer for my chip, MC for the intake and bypass valve, and my Audisport badge for those extra 20 ponies!)
next light, roll down windows...
him: [insert asian accent with techno in background]"Hey! damn bro that thing is supa fass! nice intake too!"(MC intake, that makes PSHHHH sound when u let off the gas) :-) me: "yea, and its just a 4 cylinder!" him: "wow man, you got me beat, congrats!" me: [ear-to-ear grin]

Yeah baby Yeah!
Even these days. When my dad goes on a rare ride with me I like to play with him on the back roads near our house or on our gravel road. The gravel is Sooo much fun! Can you say 4-wheel drift!
