This sounds nice, but I want to hear if anybody owns one and thinks it reallyt works well. I have ruled out any that are not remote, I hate that thing in my window.

Its kind of a crappy photo, but here's how I installed the control panel in the cup holder space. (I have a camera on the way and will show the completed interior shot and how I mounted the antenna behind the grill)

I think I saw a post earlier, that sparked my curiosity. I was decided on the V1, but then I decided I really didn't want another window-mounted clunker. In August my last 2 tix will be gone, so I am hoping to keep my record clean for a while so I can enjoy my money instead of some insurance dude buying himself another pair of suspenders. I looke forward to some good install pics.

...due to the complete lack of real estate on the A4 behind the grill. A quick trip to home depot provided the solution (mounting bracket). The antenna sits directly behind the rings on the grill and was cake to mount once I finalized that location. Connect the antenna to the detector and wire up the + and - and you're ready to go! (It also includes front and rear laser pickups that you can place in the car, which I didnt bother mounting)
