I recently had the battery changed in my A4. When the new battery went in all of the electronics came back up in kilimeters and Celsius. In addition the radio did not work. When I put in the 'code' listed in the manual it still did not work. Any ideas?? The dealer said there was nothing they could do.<p>TJBII

THE dealer said they couldn't do anything! DO THEY NOT MAKE YOUR CAR??!!! I would bring it to them and say fix the damn thing, because they should damn well know how to do it!

Same thing happened to my car. The code from the original manual did not work on my radio. On top of that, if I had not checked the radio on the way out of the dealer, I would not have know that the dealer did not bother to check the radio.
The radio was replaced under warranty. (My car was less than 3 yrs old). However, the new unit (refurbished probably) was not sending CD/RDS info to the instrument cluster. I had that radio replaced a month later too. Now the current radio, a month later has a column of LEDs that don't work 3/4 of the time.
