Default Ran my DBW Stage 3 last night at Atlanta Dragway (Pump gas)...

It was the last public test n tune of the year. They won't open again until March =/. Anyway I got 1 run in (the line to drag was 1+ hours). The slip is hard to read so here's the details.

R/T 1.003
60' 2.252
330 6.196
1/8 9.347
MPH 80.21
1000 12.058
1/4 14.344
MPH 98.26

This was at full car weight with no weight reduction (Spare, jack etc in the car). No IC or intake manifold spraying. 93 octane gas with the 93 octane program. OLD actuator/OLD DBW program. The ambient temp was 50F.

I'm fairly pleased considering the ****ty launch. I pulled slightly past the staging lights and had to backup to restage. Unfortuntely, as I backed up the starter dropped the lights. Needless to say, my launch sucked. The WOA S2+ clutch held like a champ though!

I think a 13.7-13.8 @ 100+ mph is possible with some slight weight reduction , a good launch and maybe a better and lighter driver (228 lb).

Default nice run with pump!

Ive always wanted to see pump runs since, well, i run pump daily. Looks like you can crack high 13's with pump, full loaded car and a daily driver...sounds pretty damn good to me.

Ive always wanted a high/mid 13s car with a standard loadout, low 13's if i prep (race fuel, remove spare/jack, etc)

Cheers,
Sameer

Default Ermmm

Isn't that the definition of our Stg 3's ?
He's DBW (and I'm a sliver *** .. lol) so he has a pretty good weight penalty to over come. I'd think the nDBW cars would be right in the range you describe .. outta the box.

Default Nice run Afro. Better launch itself should get you into the 13's.

I don't think you need to go on a starvation diet

Default Funny how we can start to think our cars are not *really* that fast..

i guess that is why they say power is addictive

Cheers,
