Ran a Vag Com and got the following....
VAG-COM Version: Release 311.2-N
Control Module Part Number: 8D0 907 557 P
Decided to reset the Service Indicator tonight and found the following fault codes:
Component and/or Version: 1.8L R4/5VT MOTR HS D07
Software Coding: 06201
Work Shop Code: WSC 06335
2 Faults Found:
17968 - Maximum Engine Speed Exceeded (Engine Warranty VOID! :-)
P1560 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
16500 - Engine Coolant Temp. Sensor (G62): Implausible Signal
P0116 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
Had to laugh at the first one, especially the smiley face!!
I guess that I need a new ECT to get rid of the second one. Can anybody tell me the part number for a ECT for a 1998.5 AEB??
