did you change the coolant temp sensor? I'm having the same problems

I changed the temp sensor but that wasn't my problem. My misfire was from 5 bad coils. Changed all of them now running perfect. I also changed the plugs.

I thought you said it had new coils. Well at least you got it running.

I had the same issue. bought the OEM coil pack and the car still misfired and ran poor. we found out that there was 2 coils defective in the new pack! we went aftermarket and replaced them all again and all is good.

the company said there was a bad batch (in June 09?) but I think this is a bigger problem.

I think it was the original poster that said he had new coils. I was just reading along trying to figure out what is going on with mine.

All I have left are the O2 sensors. VAG said something about lambda 1 and lambda 2 or something. It's running great now so I'm going to wait on the O2 sensors until next month.
