....turn using a socket wrench and apply as much pressure as you can. I then grabbed my C-clamp and used that just a bit to apply some more pressure. Then back to the tool...then back to the C-clamp for another quick squeeze.

....unlike the fronts where all you need to do to compress the piston is push, the rear's (as you know) require pushing and turning.
The C-clamp on the rear won't compress the piston much, and you have to be careful you don't force it too hard or you might damage something. But I used it to apply more pressure than I could with just the piston-turning tool. Good luck!
