Default Rattling Sound In Rear Speaker....

I hear a rattling sound in my right rear speaker. I hope I didnt blow out the speaker. I have the Bose system. I was wondering how much it would cost to replace the speaker or would it still be under warranty since my car is only 10 months old. I guess I have to stop listening to my music really loud. I was also wondering if anyone else out there have to listen to their music on a -3 or -4 on the bass because it is too heavy. Are there any type of solutions to this problem?

Default Me too - both things - more...

Well, I haven't been playing my stereo too loud, and I have a rattle somewhere "around" the right rear speaker. However, the rattle does not seem to be volume-sensitive, so I can't say for sure if it's actually the speaker, the mounting, or something else. You should be covered under warranty - I had a rear speaker replaced twice in my Grand Cherokee for the same problem.

And yes, I find the bass a bit boomy, and I keep it turned down to about halfway between 0 and the bottom.

Search back a few days for more form me on Bose & radio presets "shifting" if you have that problem too.<p>'00 1.8TQS Tip, no chip (yet...)
