Do any of you have neuspeed exhaust on a 1.8t? Im looking into getting it but im concerned about noise. I have heard a Borla system as well as ABT, but ABT is priced way out of my league. Also, do any of you have a sound file so i could hear the exhaust? I found a file for LLTEK exhaust, but not for any other systems. Thansk!

I have the Apr chip and Neu-exhaust(Borla). With these mods, the machine is very impressive. The exhaust allows the motor to pull to redline with authority, no more wheezing past 6k/rpm. The sound.....is quiet. I would have liked more sound from the exhaust but it does add a nice rumble at low rpm and a bit more bark at higher rpms. This is not a "ricey" sounding exhaust. It looks good, even my dealership commented on how well the system looks and its craftmanship. My opinion.....just do it and enjoy. Good luck and drive safe, ace996

I was told by a couple of Neuspeed employees that they are going tobe getting a NEW supplier for their exhaust systems in the very, very near future. I was told this as they replaced the rear section, muffler, tips etc. a couple of weeks ago on my 2001 A4. My TIPS were hanging low, ha, ha,....needed bra!! They made the switch under warrranty, no cost to me, but trip to shop.
Problem with Borla is NOT one of design or quality, but of supply. Problem seems tobe delivery, or lead time, Borla takes too long to ship Neuspeeds orders in NS opinion!
Thought you might be interested since they will be changing suppliers in the near furture!!

For all intents and purposes, they are the same....Borla makes the Neuspeed exhaust.

it isnt that loud. definitely louder than, say, an apr system, but certainly not unacceptable.
