Ready to wax! Do I need to use a cleaner/striper prior to blitz wax? The car is only 3 mounths old.

Don't know what kinda weather/exposure it's seen, but a mild glaze like Omega Glaze couldn't hurt.
If you just came through a harsh winter in those 3 months, consider doing a glaze first. One Grand's Omega Glaze is so easy to use I have to tell myself it's not really necessary to use it every time I wax. Works especially well on dark colors to eliminate superficial scratches, swirl marks, etc. I can't say enough good things about it. Non-abrasive.
Rick

I think Blitz is over rated...
Jeff... I used the Blitz pre clearner and carnuba wax on my mint '87 Grand National, worked my A## off, and wasn't all that impressed with the results. Gave the PS2 (think that's what they call it) car wash, cleaner and carnuba a shot the next time around and the results were outstanding. Tried to touch up the GN with the Blitz spray touch up stuff and didn't think it was all that great. On the other hand, the McGuires spray detailer is great... I use it on my A4 and GN after every wash and the car's always come out fantastic. For what it's worth...
J.R.S.

I use 3M Imperial Hand Glaze 1/2 X per year, before 1 Grand Blitz wax.
