Filled car with 93 yesterday eve (tank was down to 1/8) and within a few miles car developed severe misfire. CE light was at first flashing, now solid. Idles seemingly fine, and accelerates seemingly fine if you give it just the slightest amount of gas. However with anything more than 1/8 pedal, it all goes to hell. Have added 2 btls dry gas and driven enough for it to cycle through. Problem still there. Had all 4 coil packs replaced 6 mo. ago.
Seems like maybe it is willing to take more gas and not misfire if engine is reved up more.

Where are you located?

(Right now) New Hampshire. The tank was from Manchester, NH: the Queen City Mobil (II) on South Willow. The fuel used was "Super Plus."
I live in Boston though. Obviously not driving the car like this to the Bean.

if everything ws fine before, and the only thing you changed was the gas, then it has to be the gas.
