Default Rear Brake pad tech article (re-write)

i just did my pads yesterday by using the old tech sheet, needless to say i had some difficulty. i highly recommend getting the rear disc caliper tool, and at the very minimum the rear disc piston tool (block). The procedure a very simple and straight foward, but a major PITA without the right tools and parts. i took the time to do this re-write so you guys won't go though the crap i had to go through. hope this helps-

Parts needed:
Rear Brake pads (OEM, Mintex, Porterfield, EBC, etc.)
Brake lube

Tools Needed:

latex/mechanic gloves (optional)
15mm wrench
13mm wrench / socket
*rear disc brake tool (Lisle part no. 25000)

-or-
*rear disc piston tool (Lisle part no. 28300)
<img src="http://www.menintools.com/images/lisle28300.jpg">

Steps:

1. Take off your wheel
2. Locate the two screws on the back side of the caliper. You will need both the wrenches to unscrew them off. 15mm for the nut close to you, and 13mm for the rear nut. Hold the 15mm in place and turn clockwise to loosen the nut off.
3. Caliper should easily pull off after screws are out, pads should fall off, if not a quick tap would do.
4. Use the piston tool to push and turn clockwise at the same time. Make sure piston is all the way in and you cannot turn the tool any farther.
5. Lube the back of the new pads on the rotor (there's a bracket that will hold it)
6. Put caliper back into place and replace screws. I've found that it's easier to get the bottom one in first. Turn counter clockwise to get the screw in. MAKE SURE THE SCREWS ARE LINED UP STRAIGHT. You do not want to strip the thread.
7. Your all done!!!

Now put the wheel back, tighten all the bolts and pump your brakes to make sure they work.

Disclaimer: any work you do on your own car is at your own risk.

-People have gotten by without the piston tools by using a c-clamp, screwdrivers, or big pliers, but I found it impossible (or unbearably slow). I ended up renting one at Kragen.
-Quattro and Fronttrac pads ARE DIFFERENT, so double check

**if anyone has the bently and want to hook me up with the brake diagrams that'll be highly helpful (i didn't take pics because my hands were so dirty)
