Anyone know off the top of their head... I think it's 245mm but I am not sure. Just want to make sure I am getting the right parts.
Also, (flamesuit on!) mechanic wants 50 bucks for "hardware" when replacing the pads/rotors on the car, anyone know what this is? I think it must be part of the calipers/pads assembly, perhaps?
Yes, I am teh super n00b.
TIA!

Buy all the parts you need online. Buy the rotors, pads, caliper bolts, caliper slide pins, and anti-rattle clip. Buying all those extras that you might or might not need, probly won't cost you $50. I found ECS tuning had the best price for for rotors, pads, etc. Then just find a mech. with the lowest labor rates. You don't need an audi mech. to do the brakes. Any old mech. that you trust will do.
