This stuff real easy to do? I'm pretty mechanical minded and do a lot of my own stuff on the car. Changed my head gaskets on my old ranger. I figure if I can save a few buck might as well do it myself.
I'm guessing the 6 things sticking out of the top of my motor are the injectors. Can you get them out easy enough? How hard are the to clean?
Anything difficult I need to move out of my way in order to get the heads off?
IS the Differential seal any big deal? Do I have to fill it back up with oil?

I've taken mine out and they were extra clean.
The diff seal I know nothing about, but I'd bet its not that easy to do.

Chevron with tekron is the only stuff i have use that actually makes a difference I can feel. But with 124k miles it seems like there might be something extra I can do by taking them out. Are they had to get out so i can at least check one or 2 and see how they look?

Their seats were dirty but the nozzles were sparkling clean.
You have to pull the fuel rail off and you are gonna get fuel on yourself.
They are held on with clips and with rubber seals. My seals came off in the fuel rail so I had to figure out why the fuel rail wouldnt go back on right. Took a while but I figured it out.
Was a bit of a waste of time.
What makes you want to pull your injectors out?

Makes Techron and the other over-the-counter stuff look like child's play. However, so does it's price at $15-20 a can. Look for it at high-end garages and some dealerships.
Beyond that, you can have a garage with a BG, Bilstein, or similar fuel system cleaning machine that hooks up in place of your fuel lines runs the car on a combustible cleaning fluid.
If you're sure its the injectors, get them ultra-sonically cleaned at a lab. If you live in So.Cal. RC Engineerings the place. www.rceng.com
Additionally, a well respected poster recommended putting a little Magic Mystery Oil into the fuel tank. Do a search. Shell licenses it as an additive for its gasolines.
