Default Rear differential sweat/leak, including a quick question..
At the center of the rear differential (leak) there is a 3-4" diameter wet spot of gear fluid with one small drip that has and perhaps still is acumulating. The wet spot itself is on the casing, directly underneath the gears' joints, obviously due to gravity.

What would be excessive leakage?

When my rear diff seal went, there was splatter all over the undercarrage...it was very bad.
