The rear is pretty ****ed. Rear bumper is smashed, inside of truck is all pushed in. Pasenger side rear is messed up also. The rear panel is pushed in causing rear door not to open close properly.
The guy hit me pretty hard. I've got some pain in back and neck that seems to be getting worse with time.
Damn, my first new car and it gets whacked!
I guess it could have been worse.

Be very careful with that neck pain. My wife is
a Physical Therapist. She told me once that
whiplash takes about 24 hours to set in. (Which
is why when you lightly rear-end someone and they
immediately complain of neck pain, you can
be pretty sure they're full of it).
If you have not seen a doctor, you may want to
do so.
Good luck with your injuries, and with getting
the car fixed.

Please please please go see a doctor right away. You need to have your back and neck pain looked at. It's not going to get any better in the next few days, and it's important if the accident wasn't your fault. The taxi company's insurance should pay for med fees if any, if you can catch any related injuries early enough.

I was recently broadsided (not rear-ended) while driving my A4. My lower back was bothering me right away, but it wasn't until the next day that my upper back and shoulder really started to hurt like hell.
I've been going to PT for about three weeks now and it really seems to help. I was on ibuprofen (still taking it), pain pills and muscle relaxers for a few weeks and that was no fun at all!
Meanwhile it was ~$11k of damage to my Avant. If I were analog a4, I would get a good lawyer just in case. In my case, the opposing insurance company called me the morning after the accident to discuss "settling" - that's when I knew I needed an attorney.
Advice to all: Get medical payments on your car insurance. It's cheap and really worth it if you are injured in an auto accident.
