Default rear rotor replacement and bearings

I saw the tech article in the archive on pads and rotors but incomplete apparently. I changed my rear pads yesterday and wanted to put new rotors on when I discovered that it is not that straigthforward. The rotors have a couple of bearings installed in them. I took the front one apart, that is, I am able to disassemble the bushing just fine except that the outer part of it sits inside the rotor and I am not sure how to pull that out. I have not even try the second bearing installed in the back of the rotor (it is fully enclosed by a rubber seal). Any tips on how to correctly take them off the old rotors and put them in the new ones?
Thanks.

car is B5 1.8T, the last of the B5s right before they introduced B6s...

Ok, so its a 2001.5 1.8T... Why couldn't you just say that? Do you have FWD or AWD?

Default Sounds like a FWD

There are 2 bearings in the rotors that need to be pressed in/out.

The rubber seal on the back side should be replaced as well it just pulls out.
The ABS ring also must be transffered to the new rotor, that also just pulls off.

Default No, I don't. Mike up above pretty much covered what I would say

Might want to search in the archives, B5 FAQ, and the Tech section for how-to's.
