Are the original nuts and bolts really not reusable? Both the Haynes and Bentley manual say to make sure that you replace the bolts. Can I just use grade 8 replacements? And if I can...

Does anyone know the bolt sizes? I need replacements for the lower shock mounting bolt and nut and and the actual shock mounts themselves.

Examine the bolts, I reuse if no corrosion. The self-locking flange-nuts can be replaced with a good washer and nylock nut. I get boxes of 50 from www.boltdepot.com.

Right or wrong... I've never replaced any bolts that weren't showing obvious wear unless they were "stretch bolts" like some headbolts that are intentionally streched under torque.
