rear wheel bearing?????
hey guys, have a question for everyone. i have had my 01' A4 1.8 for a little over a year now. i had the rear passenger side wheel bearing replaced maybe 2 or 3 months arter i first bought the car, because it was going bad on me and making one hell or a noise. i brought my car in (not Audi dealership, i figured for a barring i would save a little on laber since i dont have a place to do it myself, and dont know how to for that matter....anyways) they put the new bearing on and everything was fine.... then maybe 3 months and the noise came back so i brought it back thinking they might have put a faulty bearing in. They replaced it for free b/c there is no way it should have gone bad in that amount of time. not maybe 7 months after the 2nd "new" bearing was put in the same noise is back. needless to say i dont no what the hell is going on. any one have any in-put to what is going on??? also is there anything that anyone can think of that would cause a bearing to go so quick?? thanks for your time guys!

did you get a 4-wheel alignment? Perhaps it's off, and that's killing your bearings
You should get a 4wheel alignment anyways after the first time, if they pulled the upright to press in the bearing

would have to be way way way off to kill a bearing
key to the intall is pressing it together with the hub perfectly.. If it even messes up a hair when pressing them in you can wreck the bearing.
