Anyone know where that rear window auto up mod article went? I looked through the tech articles, and did a search, but all I can find is that it used to be there but isn't anymore.

Here's an article, but it looks like you'll need a VAG tool to use it.

... and it is nice, but I was looking to make the rear windows do the 1-touch-up like the front windows do when you're in the car.

use the link below for the steps to take the door and window regulator apart. when you have the window regulator, simply wrap a wire around pins 5 and 7 in a figure-8 shape. that's it. then plug it back in, reassemble door, and hold the window button down for 5 seconds and then up for 5 seconds to learn the new feature. after that, you should have one touch up and down. voila.
