Has anyone had trouble with their rear window motor snaping? I have had both go in the last 3 weeks. If so what did it cost to get fix? It was over $400 for me for just one of them.

I had both a rear window go and a front window. Audi quoted me ridiculous figures to repair them so I fixed them myself. I am no mechanic so it is a fairly easy to understand procedure but will take time, largely because the door panels are so tight in relation to the window pane. The toughest part of the procedure is getting to the hex screw that hold the window in the bracket. Go to www.clairparts.com.

Your problem may not even be the motor. What are the symptoms ?
